Welcome to the Tongass Forest Plan Adjustment Weblog (blog). We have established this blog in support of the planning efforts currently being conducted by the Tongass National Forest. Our hope is that this blog will be a forum for meaningful discussion about forest planning issues. As we move forward with the planning process, our intent is to share some of our initial thoughts and work products and solicit your input on these as well as a variety of other forest planning issues. Please visit this site frequently. New information related to the Forest Plan adjustment and update process will be posted as it is developed, and we hope you will take this opportunity to review and discuss this information and the planning process.

The blog is organized into a series of discussion topics. These topics are identified in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. Click on the blog topic name to access each discussion. Our expectation is that the discussion topics will evolve over time and we will add new discussion topics as the planning process continues. The discussion topics may be viewed at any time. However, people wishing to participate will need to register with us and login to post a comment. In addition, we have established blog rules and general guidelines to make this blog a safe and meaningful forum for those participating.
