Tongass National Forest

As many of you may have heard we are going to add another alternative at the request of Southeast Conference. I posted some information about that under "alternatives". We have been working hard on the draft plan and the DEIS to meet our November release date. The addition of an alternative now creates a lot of work, both to analyze the alterntive and update all the tables and graphs.

So we are now looking at releasing the DEIS and Draft plan in early January. The advantage in that is that the 90 comment period will not overlap with the holidays.
